The Broad Agency Announcement(BAA) HSCG32-10-R-R00019 will no longer be in effect as of 30 September 2010 2:00 p.m. local time.

As a result, as of this date/time the Interagency Alternative Technology Assessment Program (IATAP) will stop accepting new white papers in support of the Deepwater Horizon Response. All white papers submitted prior to this date/time will be adjudicated in accordance with the instructions provided in this BAA.

On 19 September 2010, the National Incident Commander declared that the Deepwater Horizon well-site no longer poses a substantial threat of a discharge or a substantial threat to the public health or welfare of the United States. Additionally, there has been no observable release of hydrocarbons from the well-site since approximately 12 July 2010. Response ideas can continue to be submitted to the Responsible Party at the website and click on the "Submit a Suggestion" link.
